In addition to professional
practice, Jonathan is a visiting professor at the London
School of Economics
where he teaches Corporate and Financial Crime and International Economic Sanctions on the LLM programme.
In addition, Jonathan participates in the Law and Financial Markets Project.
The Project aims
to bridge the gap between lawyers in the commercial world and those
in academic institutions.
The Government's Research Assessment Exercise 2008 rated LSE’s Law Department
first place nationally. Regarded as one of the most selective
and prestigious universities in the world today, LSE has the most
international student body of any university in the world today.
Between 2003 and 2006 Jonathan was a visiting professor at Cass
Business School where he lectured on financial services regulation
and investor protection law. Previously he lectured at City
University (and subsequently Cass Business School) as a visiting
fellow since 1985. Jonathan began his academic career in 1980 when
he worked full-time as a lecturer at the Anglia Ruskin University
(then the Chelmer Institute) teaching Jurisprudence and English
Legal System.
Jonathan is listed as a leading academic lawyer in Who's Who in Law Directory (Academic Keys). |
